Client: Maimonides Academy Lead Agency: City of Los Angeles Date Completed: In Progress The Maimonides Academy is uniquely located in two cities, Los Angeles and West Hollywood. The Academy is located on seven parcels and is comprised of approximately 72,000 net square feet of lot area. On the north, the project is bounded by commercial development in Los Angeles, and by single family residential uses in West Hollywood. The proposed project site has operated a religious educational facility for children from Pre-nursery to 8th grade since 1975 and is proposing to expand and modernize the school facilities. The entire Academy's facilities of which the majority is over 40 years old will be replaced. New development would consist of a subterranean parking, a surface level parking lot, greenbelts, educational facilities accommodating Pre-School, Elementary School, and Middle School, and a fully enclosed gymnasium. |
