Amy ParravanoExperience Summary

Ms. Amy Parravano, Senior Biologist at CAJA, has over 13 years of experience in environmental consulting and research, including wetland delineation, special status species surveys, CEQA/NEPA impact assessment, habitat mitigation planning and monitoring, and regulatory permitting for CWA 401 & 404, Federal Endangered Species Act (FESA) Section 7, CDFG 1602, and the California Coastal Act. Ms. Parravano has managed, designed, and conducted technical studies and provided environmental review of biological impacts for a wide range of large- and small-scale public and private projects. She has developed environmental permit application strategies appropriate to unique project needs, working closely with federal, state, and local regulatory agency personnel. Ms. Parravano has conducted field work for long term success monitoring of restoration projects, biological site assessments, functions and values assessments, wetland delineations, plant community mapping, and special status plant and wildlife species surveys in a wide range of Northern California habitats. She has developed quantitative vegetation sampling methods and contingency measures for a variety of habitat mitigation monitoring projects. Ms. Parravano has managed the preparation of technical reports including biological constraints analyses, wetlands delineation reports, mitigation plans, vegetation management plans, wetlands permit applications, focused survey reports, federally- and state-listed species permitting, and biological resources reports in accordance with CEQA/NEPA.
