Summary
Mr. Andrew Waggoner is an Associate Environmental Planner at CAJA's Oakland Office. Mr. Waggoner is responsible for project-related tasks including EIR section writing, proposal writing, fulfilling public noticing requirements, analytical research, document management, production and distribution, onsite photography, and land use surveys. His tasks also involve providing direction and assistance to other CAJA team members. Mr. Waggoner has been instrumental in the writing and production of both program and project level EIRs, Initial Studies, and Mitigated Negative Declarations. His program level experience includes general plans, enterprise zones, and master plans, while his project level experience includes institutional, residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Before graduating from the University of Colorado in 2003, Mr. Waggoner researched water use and availability in a village on Zanzibar Island in Tanzania. His findings were submitted to the Zanzibar Commission for the Environment. Mr. Waggoner has also worked as an intern performing wetland surveys with the Bureau of Land Management in Elko Nevada.
