Heidi McWhorterExperience Summary

Ms. Heidi McWhorter is a Senior Environmental Planner with five years of professional experience in the preparation of CEQA and NEPA documents. Ms. McWhorter began her consulting career at CAJA and played a lead role in establishing the firm's Bay Area office in Oakland. She has served as lead writer and deputy manager for the full gamut of environmental analyses including EIRs, Initial Studies, Negative Declarations and MNDs, Addenda, Mitigation Monitoring Programs, and other focused studies. Ms. McWhorter's project experience is wide-ranging in terms of both geography and type, demonstrating her ability to identify, assess, and mitigate environmental impacts under unique and varied conditions. She is particularly skilled in managing the day-to-day demands of large-scale, controversial projects, such as the Ponte Vista housing development in San Pedro, which has sparked highly publicized debate and faced competing proposals from a public entity. Ms. McWhorter is valued by her clients for her attention to detail, her writing, analytical, and organizational skills, and her commitment to delivering high-quality work products.
