Experience Summary

Michael Brown is a Principal with over 16 years experience in CEQA and NEPA documentation, and technical analysis. Mr. Brown has managed a wide range of projects in the southern California region and has been a contributing writer to many environmental and planning documents throughout the state. In addition to his project management role, Mr. Brown maintains technical expertise in the assessment of air quality and acoustic impacts. He has used this expertise to develop detailed computer models for the assessment of air quality and noise impacts. In fact, Mr. Brown has been specifically cited for his expertise in air quality impact analysis by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), County of Ventura, and the City of Thousand Oaks. Prior to joining CAJA, Mr. Brown was the Technical Director of the Air Quality and Noise Group at EIP Associates, where he was responsible for the development, training, and management of technical staff, and the direction of technical analyses.
