Ms. Malone-Brown is an Environmental Planner with over 16 years of experience in city planning and environmental impact analysis that has included writing, coordinating, reviewing, and conducting research for various types of environmental review documents required by NEPA and CEQA for a broad range of projects that has included complex regulatory and environmentally sensitive settings. Ms. Malone-Brown's project experience includes preparing environmental impact analyses for residential, commercial and industrial projects in both urban and rural settings, including military bases and coastal areas, that address the following environmental impact categories: aesthetics; air quality; biological, cultural and agricultural resources; geology and soils; hazards and hazardous materials; hydrology and water quality; land use and urban planning; mineral resources; noise; socioeconomics, including population and housing; hazardous materials and wastes; safety and occupational health; public services; recreation; transportation/parking and circulation; utilities; and, airspace. Ms. Malone-Brown is experienced in preparing and managing a wide variety of environmental review documents including Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, and Environmental Impact Studies, as well as Initial Studies, Negative Declarations, Mitigated Negative Declarations, and Environmental Impact Reports. Ms. Malone-Brown has also managed large projects such as the production of a General Plan Element, Interim Control Ordinances, and Specific Plans. With a background in environmental constraints analysis, Ms. Malone-Brown brings valuable insight to developers and agency staff in defining effective solutions to mitigate the environmental impacts of projects.
