Summary
Mr. Shane Parker, a Vice President/Principal at CAJA, has over 14 years of experience in environmental and land use analysis, planning, and research. Mr. Parker possesses a broad understanding of environmental and regulatory issues that affect land development and has successfully managed the environmental review process for several complex and controversial land development projects. Mr. Parker specializes in CEQA-based environmental analysis and has provided environmental analyses, expert testimony and mitigation strategies for a wide range of development projects including high density residential and mixed-use development projects, commercial office complexes, educational/institutional campus plans, regional shopping malls and regional entertainment and sporting facilities. Mr. Parker is experienced in researching and applying complex land use and zoning regulations for projects with multi-jurisdictional boundaries, including Joint Power Authorities, the California Coastal Zone, Conservation Management Plan Areas, and Specific Plan Overlays. Mr. Parker has managed CEQA-related documentation for several lead agencies throughout the southern California region, including the cities of Agoura Hills, Duarte, Inglewood, Lancaster, Los Angeles, Malibu, Manhattan Beach, Santa Clarita, Santa Monica, Murrieta, Rancho Palos Verdes, Torrance, and West Hollywood. Other lead agencies Mr. Parker has provided services to include the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Los Angeles, the County of Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Commission, the Los Angeles Community College District, and Santa Monica College.
